1st Prototype Storyboard
This is the storyboard the lays out the basic plan and what I was following during the production stage.
I made a concept edit of the interview using clips from Amanda Cranes mental & physical health interview. I don't really like how it turned out but below is the final product of what I made. I think I should've made it more interesting whilst making it quicker & more fun. I am considering making another one but I am not sure on time constraints.
I do admit, it isn't the best as the animations are slightly wrong or all over the place. I am really considering making it again though but better and more fun to watch.
What's wrong with it -
I personally think it doesn't contain enough character and lacks anything that makes it fun. I think it is too much animation & not enough of Amandas face as that would make the video seem more sincere whilst also getting the point across. I also think the little animated graphics in the bottom left corner didn't fit as well as I wanted them too which sucks a lot.
What I liked -
I personally liked the animations and how some of them turned out. Some of them were lacking as some were indeed rushed, however, the rest looked very professionally which I enjoyed.

This is a behind the scenes video of everything (except for some video editing) that I did. Including the steps I took. This prototype overall took me around 5 hours total to create. But I know I can do better.
2nd Prototype
I have to admit, I am way more proud of this edit as it goes with the branding of Shrewsbury college a lot more and seems a lot more professional. I also used no material that could be copyright by any means and all was from non-copyright sources such as free music archive, pixabay and youtube (non-copyright only sources).
As proof of no copyright infringement, I have screen shots from pixabay & YouTube for terms of usage, free music archive doesn't require this as it is based around being free to use for any project.
I didn't use the video above as I found an alternative, however, pixabay license allows for users and creators to use as long as the logo or another brands identity is easily revealed and seen. If you did use a video with branding seen, you would need to contact the brand itself to ask for right to use it in commercial project, creative commons and personal use should be fine.
1st TikTok Video prototype
This video is meant for social media where possible students would be looking into joining a college. My video is supposed to show college being social and being a safe place to learn in only 10 seconds. I think I made it to brand and thanks to the music, I thought it would draw the young audiences attention quickly and easily. However, I didn't have many clips to work with.
I think the best feature of the video is the simple colours used and the background music I used to accompany the video. These two elements in my opinion, along with the rest, bring it together really well. But I think, with a few more clips, I could have made it a lot more interesting.
2nd TikTok Video
For this video, I came up with a cool concept for an advert for Shrewsbury college using special effects. My idea is to pull the Shrewsbury college logo out of a portal & then use a call to action either at the start or end to create a cool video that people will want to engage with.
Next up, the actual video. I will be recording everything I do for this project in order for people to see the process behind it, though it may include using a few tutorials that I will link here for others to see & possibly use.
I have to say, I am extremely proud of this. I have to admit, the ending graphics could have been better, but I was finishing this at 2am and was getting tired so decided to just add fun SFX instead, though I would've done both. This took me a long time to figure out, but I believe it was worth it & I learned more about Adobe After Effects from this, including rotoscoping, which was used for my hand, different colour effect etc.
