The briefs
My thoughts -
For this project I want to create something 3D. I have looked at all briefs & chosen 3 that interest me the most. Below are the chosen ones.
Rebels wanted brief -
I immediately understand the Beano studios would want me to create an updated version of a chosen female character & preferably create a 30-90 second animation with the created model showcasing what the character does. The target audience is mainly young children & teenagers aged between 10-12 years old meaning I would need to create an extremely child friendly character that has resemblance to the 2D version. The main requirement is to show child rebellion with silly pranks & other stuff that a prankster in the universe of Beano would do, like Dennis the Menace & his dog Gnasher.
Infinite possibilities brief -
This brief is about Microsoft wanting to create a new game concept for any audience, the target audience depends on the game type, age rating etc. For this I would want to create some low-poly 3D models & maybe a small showcase / trailer for the game showing some simple concepts of what the game what entail & feature, including characters, environments etc.
Sweet little history brief -
This brief is about creating a new piece for Shrewsbury museum that can be used in a museum as digital artwork & be used on social media as advertisement for the company. The target audience for this project would be between the ages 10 - 24 years old, however this can be narrowed down to suit the target audience more fitting. As I mentioned in "My Thoughts" I will be creating 3D art meaning this could be a chance for me to look into modern abstract art or something modern as both children & young adults may like this.
